The chronicles of CNN's boot camp known as The VJ Program. We Peon Warriors began meeting here to share humiliating and humorous stories about early encounters with CNN anchors, directors, producers and brutal cafeteria employees. We divulged what it was like to be broke, foolish and referred to not by name but by function. And while we've moved on in life...the inner Peon still remains.

ROCK N' ROLL SALVATION PROMO

Get ready for a baptism in the Bordello! It's a Spiritual Revival for lost souls saved by the down and dirty glory of rock n' roll. We'll be sharing stories of salvation through song; when three chords could lift your love-scarred heart to the heavens, a concert could rescue you from the hell of suburban stagnation and a mix-tape could offer the answers to life's big questions.
Thanks to Rock n' Roll Missionary Mike Ser for creating this stellar promo!

The song clips you hear are "Personal Jesus" by Depeche Mode, "Whatever Happened to My Rock n' Roll" by Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and "Hallelujah" from Handel's Messiah. All songs can be purchased through itunes or Amazon.
Also, I'm not sure if it looks different on your screen, but on mine it's cut off if you view the video here. Click on the "Mama D's Arts Bordello" at the top of the clip and it will take you directly to Youtube, where it can be viewed properly.
Great video! I really like the theme. I remember being a teenager and praying for Bon Jovi to take me away from cleveland. Now that I'm an adult, I know he would only take me from ohio to new jersey. not much of a step up.
This is one of my favorite Mama D's themes yet. The Mick Jagger photo is my fave.
Thank you DF! And thank you for your great advice on fixing the video! Thanks to you, the video can be seen in its full glory now.
